Does NU send rejected and accepted all at the same time? Or do some get rejected earlier than late March? Oh the wait!

i dunno but i am starting to get nervous about this again.

does anyone else have their application ID number memorized? LoL this is so pathetic...

yeah....it's been bouncing around my head for a while now. pathetic indeed.

Got my rejection letter today, dated march 18. Am an international applicant...so guess they're sending rejection/ acceptance letters now? Sigh...

7 days left?

sorry about that crygoose. I wish you luck for the rest of your schools.

sorry crygoose, where do you live and how did you get the mail so fast?

thx pple :) I've lost hope. Doubt other schs will accept me. all the best for u guys :) hope u all get NW!
dissbs: I live in singapore. it was postmarked march 14. but the NW letter stated march 18.

I think they send all intl decisions early, just to make sure we get them on time :D

crygoose - Sorry to hear that :(

sorry crygoose :( but i'm sure you will love wherever you go :)

do you think Northwestern will send all their decisions out a little earlier than they said... not just the international ones?

crygoose, what are ur stats

wails i waaaant my decision....

clears throat uh yeah...shifty eyes i really don't feel like waiting anymore. let's share screams of anguish!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i'm also an intl, but still haven't heard anything.
Guess my rejection letter will be on its way soon;)

Guys, calm down. (Remember, I used to be like you.)

Yes, they send international students (through FedEx I believe) their acceptance/rejection letters early. As for admittance into Northwestern, you will get an email (or if you have password access -- it's been a while since I'm a junior-card-carrying NU undergrad lol) to check the status of your application online around the last week of March. Once you log in, you will get a message whether you've been admitted or rejected. Simple as that. They will send out the rejection and acceptance letters in the mail by April 15ish.

You know what, it sucks that they make us wait SOO long and then give us, what, like 2 weeks to decide where we're going for sure... the whole system is CRAP.

wow... I'm getting bitter and I don't even have my decision yet

Well they assume that you've had probably over a year to look at all your colleges and make a preliminary list of your preferences. You're probably not going to find out much more about a college in 2 weeks than you have in the past 52. So just make a list and subtract the ones you don't get admitted to (hopefully it doesn't come to that), and then you will have your choice!

tenisghs- do they have a special weekend for admitted students to visit or are we just on our own? my dad is a doctor and my mom is going to nursing school and they are very adamant about not being able to take me anywhere to visit colleges because they are too busy

I GOT IN!!!!! my parents got the mail just right now and mailed me at school. i'm a domestic student but living in japan

Congrats, expo! What were your stats?
