Check your email everyone!!!

Most interesting part of the email: “This year’s applicant pool was exceptionally competitive, as we reviewed nearly 9,200 truly remarkable applications for approximately 800 openings. Therefore, you should be incredibly proud of your accomplishment.”

:)

You have to realize, ghuskies, they will accept a lot more than 800 to fill those 800 slots.

Oh I realize that. It just still surprises me how selective Pepperdine is. I don’t think everyone realizes just how low the acceptance rate is for a religious private school.

I got in!! So Stoked. :)

Got accepted!

I didn’t get an email should i be worried?

I didn’t get any Email and Wavenet application status hasn’t change yet.
Does it mean a rejection?

heibleh . . . that’s what happened to me and I just got the rejection notice. Now it’s between Chapman and SMU.

I got in too! I was shocked cause my gpa is a 3.3 (3.6 weighted) and I have no connections to Pepperdine. Everyone told me it is impossible to get in without connections and Christ affiliation, so I feel great! But tuition is too much, so I’m prolly gonna end up taking a scholarship to another school but would love Pepperdine on sale!

***?
I have a 1940 sat score and a 3.95 gpa and got rejected from pepperdine but I got into UC Davis today. Someone please explain??

They look for far more than grades. They don’t want book worms

^yes exactly. They really do look holistically. It’s not all numbers with Pepperdine.

Accepted on my birthday! Soo happpy!

Got in with a 3.84gpa and a 1710 sat score
But i am involved heavily in extra curriculars

Rejected…Will probably end up attending another West Coast Conference University and when I face Pepperdine in my sport they are going down hard.

really? I played varsity soccer and tennis all 4 years and did numerous hours of community service and served on leadership positions. I did an internship and got paid $1000 and also took 17 units of university courses and got all A’s. I sound more well rounded then the sun lol

How were your essays? I can’t imagine what made them turn down your impressive list of accomplishments.

Can accepted people post stats please?

I have a 4.0 UW and 4.4-4.5 weighted GPA. 12 AP classes, leadership, lots of community service. I felt like my essays were very strong and my recs were pretty good I’m guessing. I only read one of them. 2080 SAT. If you have more questions you can PM me
