Admission essay

heyy guys, I would really appreciate if you take a look into my essay and comment how it is, unfortunately I copied one or two paragraph's from what I found on google, will that be a major problem for me? And I have to write 600 words, but I only wrote about 390 words, will that also be a problem for me?

The essay is on why do I wish to attend APU and how do I plan to approach my studies with first choice of college(APM)

University is a time for new and exciting experiences as well as a time to explore diverse and innovative ideas. What could be better than traveling to a foreign country to learn about their ideas, history, and culture? I believe study abroad is something that every college student should do to help avoid ethnocentrism, to expand their horizons, and to appreciate everything the world has to offer.

APU’s multicultural environment caught my attention. Being able to live in Asia and still be connected with all types of different culture people from around the world. I think it will help me to assimilate other’s culture and traditions and interact with people all around the world. It has international week where people not only can learn about different culture also can celebrate them. The most impressive trait is that I don’t have to learn Japanese before I get there; therefore I won’t be losing a year to learn a new language, I’ll be learning it along I finish my course. And in the end of graduation I know an entire new language. Not only APU’s multicultural environment interests me, but also the Japanese culture too.

Japanese has rich culture and well-known for their work and attitude ethics. Japan is also known to have one the safest environment and surfing through websites, Beppu is not only safe environment to live in but also an attractive city. As it is a tourist area there are plenty of job opportunities, besides studying I’ll be able to work too by which I can cover my living expense as much as I possible, it’ll be less burden to my family financially. I have always longed to go abroad for my further studies and going to APU, not only I’ll be going aboard but also stay in my region. Learn more about the Asia region’s markets and relation additionally international aspects too.

Choosing a major is a hard decision that everyone has to tackle at some point of life. I have been engrossed in accounting and finance for a long time now. A survey shows that in Japan teaching of accounting and finance being firm-specific through comprehensive in-house training the Japanese system is in a better position to produce accountants capable of adapting accounting systems to the different work situations which result from technological changes and automation.

The answer is “Yes” to both of your questions. Copying other people’s essays/words from the Internet will get you in big trouble and may jeopardize your acceptance into any and possibly all of the schools you apply to. And having a response that is so much shorter than the word limit will also harm you.

This essay needs a lot more information about you. The first paragraph is way too vague and general. Instead, answer questions like these more in-depth: Why do you want to go to Japan of all places? Why do you want to go to college there instead of going to school in your home country and studying in Asia for a semester or summer? What skills or personality traits do you have that make you interested in completely immersing yourself in a completely different culture, and that will help you get the most out of your experience? Why are you interested in accounting and finance? Are you studying finance in Japan, or something else? Besides the study, how do you think studying abroad will make you a better accountant?

Plagiarism is illegal. Schools have special computer programs where they put your essay in and it searches for matches from thousands of sources: Internet, books, you name it. When they find that you’re taking credit for something that’s not yours, you’re not getting away with it.

I’m sure studying abroad is great, but you need to talk about how it will affect YOU. Your academics, your personal development, your life. Yet another drawback of getting ideas from the Internet: your essay isn’t personal.

This is a personal essay, you need facts about you, not statistics from some survey.
