Admission for American Students at the University of St. Andrews

I'm a senior this year and i'm really interested in attending the university of st. andrews. I am not quite sure what my chances of getting in are but here are my scores

unweighted GPA: 3.3
weighted GPA: 3.8
ACT- 30
SAT- 1290
Many extracurricular activities as well

I am in nearly all IB or AP classes, plus my high school is nationally ranked as one of the best public high schools in the country therefore all my classes are much more difficult but i'm not even sure if the university will pick up on that. Another thing that i'm not sure about, will it help me at all was my brother attended st. andrews for his junior year abroad and was asked to return and graduate there?

any help would be great!!

We need you AP grade.
3 5s are the goal,3 4s are OK

You GPA and SATs mean nothing in Scotland.

St Andrews actively solicits US students. They used to have a special app for that purpose which you could use if you werent applying to other UK schools (probably still do). They take your GPA and SATs (mostly SATS) and know how to interpret them. You're close but a little shy of their stats as far as I can remember. It's not oxbridge but is very good. And they like the US cash,

So your saying if my family has the money they will be more likely to accept me?? And i am retaking my SATs in a few weeks so hopefully i can get them up, and your saying that will help?

What if you don't have all the AP scores right now? I will have more than three (hopefully with good scores) by June. So far, I have :

As-level french: A (will take A-level)
AP Spanish - 5
As- level english: B
general paper: A
thinking skills- a level : C (horrible papers)

will be taking:

A-Level French
AP Spanish Literature
A-Level history
AS-level economics
AP Calculus AB
