I am sure you’re probably in…if not then 50/50 like the rest of us or whatever standard chances you want to give anyone…I don’t think they would rush rejections…stop with the hype already. Its just nice to know somebody got a bloody damned notification lol. Lets not speculate as to what the decision is for him/her, aight?

yes i thought it was weird to. but i remember for sure because i had to call the financial aid office and tell them about my rejection. then i asked them if they could give me money for the spring semester because i was thinking about transferring in the spring. and so they did. but i never transferred in the spring.

im not trying to scare you or anything, maybe it’s because i am used to the rejection. but i don’t know if a&m sends acceptance letter in mail without notification on your AIS or not.

I will post back as soon as the letter arrives…
If I don’t get in, I’m gonna grab a guitar and sing emo songs…

Yep well… at least you got into UT.

its not the matter of when you applied, since all transfer student will be evaluate by the department at the same time. So i’m guessing it’s depend on where your file are in the stack.

Congrats to mcalvelloxx for steppin up the to 4th base!!! Regardless of whether you get in or not, you will find out sooner than the rest of us. From your experience, look like we will all hear through mail and not AIS. Which will add another 3-5days on top of the date mailed.

A WHOLE EXTRA WEEK !!! AAAhHHHHHhhhhhHHhHhhHHHhHhhHhh…

how would you be on the student directory before you have confirmed whether your going to even attend A&M if you are accepted…still on step 3 and about to lose my mind

I’m hearing back too early.
I smell rejection…but who knows

Ok so they wont tell you the decision over the phone right??..what if you drove down there after it hit step 4 and said “OK guys I’ve waited 4 months, someone tell me something!!”…lol…that is of course if you live close enough that you could spend 4 hours on a weekday driving.

mcalvelloxx you found out way sooner than the rest of us which means you probably exceeded all expectations I guess. However, a official at TAMU joked with me about admissions when I was last in College Station (M&W game) and said, " Well… you know what they say, the later you get a decision back the better the news" I don’t know if she was playing or not but I hope its not true in your case.

oh yeah…well we must be getting some pretty frickin good news.

thats right…we are later than UT…we must all gotten in…hahah…sighzzzzz…

HEY MCALVELLOX!!..DOES THE APPLICATION WEBSITE GO TO A STEP 5 ON YOURS???..I JUST CHECKED MINE AND IT HAS A STEP 5 THAT SAY “RESPOND TO THE ADMISSION DECISION”, AND WHEN I CLICK ON IT IT TAKES ME TO A PAGE THAT SAYS “The ability to accept the offer of admission from Texas A&M University is temporarily unavailable. Please try your request again later.” DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS WHAT I THINK IT IS???

HUH??? How in the world do you have five steps?

Im not joking dude step five is “Respond to Admission Decision”

Step 5 shows up if you’re accepted from what I heard. Congrats! Now if the rest of us could get some closure…

Nate_Dawg, if you have a Step 5, then you have been admitted to A&M. Congratulations! When the next page is up and running again, you will have the option of accepting your admission.

Congrats man you’re in!!! So I guess each college has its own way of doing things. Some mail and some send decisions via AIS. This is the exact same day to the date that people found out last year!

Yep, mine says STEP 5!!!

“Congratulations! You have been admitted to Texas A&M University. Welcome to the Aggie family! To accept your offer of admission and affirm your intention to attend Texas A&M, please check the box below.”

WOHOOOOO

Thanks blackag!
