Admission for Transfer Student

Rover I’m not sure.

That message about sending spring grades is gone on my AIS. Anyone else notice this on their AIS?

its still on mine…odd… on step 4 here (may’s) and have registration options on howdy…how bout you?

on step 4 here… waiting…

I got admitted. Got my acceptance letter yesterday for Summer Session 2009. I had a question though. I called and paid over the phone for the New Student Conference and they said I will now be able to sign up for it online but I still can’t find it. Also do you think it is possible to change my summer term to the fall one?
Thanks
Ps.
I applied for college of liberal arts with about 40hrs and a 3.1 gpa if that helps anybody that have not receive something yet

I also applied for liberal arts with a 3.1 GPA, but I had about 75hrs. And I still have not heard anything yet. I moved to step four yesterday and it says that a decision has been mailed. I don’t know what to expect now.

hanibal829: Did anything change on your AIS before you got you letter? Were you on step 4 or 5?

hahah i also applied to the Liberal Arts school with a 3.1 as a Economics Major. I have 50 hours. I moved to step 4 about 2 days ago and still there, nothing on howdy as well. Documents tab says they sent my letter yesterday(19th).

jt2009 - I don’t have anything on my Howdy portal still. Also I’m still on step three, I guess they are reviewing my spring grades. This is getting strange but, jt2009 it looks like you’re in bud.

I applied to Liberal Arts also! lol

30hrs 3.1 gpa

I’m also still on step 3 (Mays).

Hey Inter89 did you finish all your indicator courses?

No I was missing two.

I just got off the phone with admissions. They tell me a decision was made on my application on May 14. She had no idea how I could still be on Step 3, but said that it should change in a day or two.

If I had to guess it would be that they sent out acceptances first and denials later, mainly because other people that had a similar decision date have already heard (and from what I can tell on this site most got accepted). I’ve been pessimistic through this whole ridiculous process though…

Interesting. I don’t know, a decision was made on my application on Monday according to the admissions rep., although nothing shows on my AIS. I’m not sure if you’re rejected just yet. Maybe there isn’t a systematic way they send decisions. The lady told me that decisions (both acceptances and denials) go out in a nonsystematic way.

I got to admit though… its a little dissapointing to see other Mays applicants getting new stuff on their Howdy portal, and not getting new stuff yourself. Wait until the news comes and go from there. Thats my plan, I’m tired of trying to figure this jacked up system out!

So yeah, I moved to Step 5 today (took about a couple of hours to move from step 4 this morning to 5). Checked my Howdy Portal and I was able to sign up for classes, I think I’m in and I don’t believe it because I applied to Mays Business School and apparently I’m in it.

What were your stats like?

I’ve been accepted and a hold in my record showed up this morning:

TASP/THEA/TSI Incomplete

Does anyone have the same hold?

I called them a few weeks ago about my TSI status and they said it’s complete.
Hopefully it’s a glitch in the system…

tzoor does… I saw it on his howdy page. Didn’t someone post what that was all about?

That hold will probably be on your account until your new student conference. I’m sure it’s just there to keep you from registering until then.

I say that because I was accepted to UT Dallas and I had that same hold on my account. They told me it was just there until I came and had an adviser help me register for classes.

The TSI hold shows up on my howdy page too. I think they put it on everyone until things are verified. After this hold is removed a new hold from your department will show up. That’s what happened when I applied to Texas Tech for fall also.

I have no holds. Howdy says I’m clear to register, but I don’t have a “time ticket”.
