Same. Supposedly my decision was made before yours too - a week ago. It takes that long to change my AIS?

does anyone know how to check what credits they count towards what…like a degree audit?

It should show up in the My Record tab of Howdy after registering for classes at the NSC. From the talks I’ve had with admissions, advisers, and financial aid, it seems like a lot of things open up after that.

blackag… i m also on step 3…
can u plz tell me ur stat ?

my stat is…
computer science
3.92 ( 47 hrs )
completed Cal 1, Cal 2, cal 3 … physics 1 & physics 2 with “A”
2 essays (pretty good… very personal )
2 letter of recommendation from calculus teachers
resume ( lots of leadership including vice president, & founder of math club )

i thought i have a decent chance … but now i’m loosing my hope… nothing changes in my howdy … it may be due to large number of application the admission is very competitive this time…

alchemist5 here’s my stats: 3.7 GPA (67 hours) All but two of the courses done on degree track one done at time of deadline. All are completed now including degree track two. I sent in spring grades. Letter of recommendation from distinguished alum Great SOP essay Currently heading four organizations etc.

ALERT!!! Second choice majors are back up!

I got declined my GPA was 2.8 w/50 hrs, now, after spring grades it’s 3.0 with 67 hrs, it says they automatically reconsider when spring grades are sent in…

… will my AIS go back to step 3? Should I call? Do I even have a chance?

(economics)

so i dont know what to think now, im still on step 3, but i have registration options and all that stuff on my howdy and now it shows that i have unaccepted aid, but I’m still unsure, because im on step 3, im wondering if they just need my spring grades or what? any thoughts?

Splinter, I applied for economics with a 3.0 and 43 hours and got denied too but I was told over the past few months by about 8-10 people that as long as you have a 3.0 and at least 24 hours you’ll be in so I don’t know what’s up…

Anybody else here doing the May 26-27th new student conference? If so, for what major?

carchase11 - I’d say you’re in. It took 8 days from the time registration options showed up on my Howdy until I went to step 4/5.

Does the applicant tab disappear when the registration option appears? And the Registration option appears under the Records tab right?

Applicant tab is still there on my Howdy. The registration options are under My Records. I think the applicant tab will go away after the NSC.

still on step 3… no changes anywhere… it’s useless to call TAMU… this is really frustrating…

Have you talked to your department? I emailed one of my department’s advisers, and she told me when decisions would be entered in the system. They seem to be able to give out information more freely than OAR.

tzooor and I had the opposite experience. The mechanical engineering department told me that they never received an application from me. The office of admissions told me that they have my application on file and that I needed to send in my spring grades due to a missing course on table 1. tzooor called May’s and they told him that they haven’t made decisions yet. He then called the office of admissions and they told him that May’s did make decisions and that they would go out wednesday (5/20). Sure enough he had a decision on his AIS on wednesday. By my experience I would just talk to the office of admissions.

So, what do I do now that I was declined? I already sent in my spring grades last week.

and how many courses from the degree track should we have?

Im heading to the May 26-27th NSC, and my major is Engineering Technology…for the person that asked.

I might see you there natedawg. Are you taking summer courses?

I have a second choice major on my AIS. Does anyone else?
