Admission into BS/MD Programs

I am currently a high school junior, and I was hoping I could get information on things I can do to better my chances of being accepted into a BS/MD program such as (but not limited to) the Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars Program.

Freshman year: I took all Pre-AP courses and scored A's in them.

Sophomore year: I took 3 AP classes. On the AP exam for Language, I got a 4; on the one for World History, I got a 4; on the one for Psychology, I got 5. I also took Pre-AP Algebra 2 , Pre-AP Chemistry, and Medical Terminology as an elective.

Junior year: I am currently taking 2 AP classes (US History and Literature) and 2 Pre-AP classes (Physics and Pre-Calculus). I am also enrolled in Academic Decathlon as an elective.

I plan on taking AP Calculus AB, AP Economics and Government, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Anatomy and Physiology, and Spanish III my senior year. Most of these classes required prerequisites, which I why I must take them next year. Will colleges be able to see this even though I'll be applying before the end of the first semester?

I currently have 137 hours of volunteer work at a local hospital and plan on enrolling at a summer research program at Southwestern University the summer after this school year. My dad has also been helping me find a doctor to shadow this year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
