Has anyone received their admission letter yet? How long do those usually take to arrive?

I haven’t got anything yet, but I live in New Mexico.

I live in Florida and didn’t get anything. Hopefully they mailed them Friday/Saturday so they start coming on Monday.

I live in NY, no letter yet.

I live 1 hour away. Nothing has come except a postcard from UF lol

Ha, I got that postcard today too. A little weird that that’s the first “official” confirmation from UF. Kinda lame.

what was the postcard about?

About applying early to Housing.

it did say “congratulations on your acceptance” on the postcard though.

ok still nothing. they are realllly slow.

Ttthhheeeyyy aaarrreeee rrreeeaaalllyyy sllloowwwwww!

I’ve gotten absolutely nothing here (Fl.)

I just want the nice certificate to hang up, tbh.

haha! I printed out my congratulations from the status check for my mothers scrap book and another copy for myself. Good enough for us.

No letter here in Frisco, TX, just the postcard from the housing office wanting us to act by 3/2. My daughter says the web site says not to act on anything until you receive the official letter. Good luck on trying to call the admissions office!! Hopefully we’ll get something this week.

GatorPA, don’t wait for the housing even though it states that on line. It seems that UF is late getting the information letters out. If your daughter sees the Congrats you’ve been accepted on her page and she’s received the postcard she is admitted to UF for whatever term it stated. Get the contract back to UF along with the $200 deposit or your daughter may lose the opportunity to live on campus or at least be put behind other students with a later application date.

I agree with gatormomma. I received a post card with my name on it and congratulating me on my acceptance which told me to apply for housing. While it wasn’t the real thing, I think I got the hint

My youngest who will be a Class of 2014 Gator hasn’t received his letter yet and we’re in florida. We sent back his contract with a check and then received an email saying they had received payment. There is a checklist on the housing application so you can see where you are in the process. Once the payment is taken care of, the housing department will check off that off the list.

Why does it say online:
Your application for admission to the University of Florida for the Fall 2010 term has been referred to your college for a final decision.

What does that mean?

I heard of some people here in Jacksonville that finally got them today. Maybe mine will be next.

I live in Jacksonville and hasn’t received anything yet, although my classmate has.
