Has anybody gotten rejected yet? And does UCI send letters on Sunday, and when do they usually post responses? Thanks!

Wondering the same. I haven’t heard from UCI and all my friends have. I heard they sent out engineering ones today and i applied as comp. engineering. Does this mean im rejected since i didnt hear from them today?

Rejected from Davis and San Diego and haven’t hear anything from irvine. Literally going into depression

same here. got rejected into ucsd and ucd…
accepted into ucr and ucsc so far.
i got a supplement for ucsd too, so shocked that i didnt get in.

Does anyone know when the next batch is?

I haven’t heard anything either and I applied for Electrical Engineering. I’m fully expecting a rejection though. Hopefully the decision comes out soon so this whole waiting BS comes to an end.

I got waitlisted at UC Davis yesterday and accepted at UCR on the very 1st day that they sent out admissions, so it looks like UCI is going to be my first rejection. Thank god UCSB is releasing decisions on Tuesday.I still have a beacon of hope for that.

Is UCR really that bad? It looks like the only uc that will take me…

@1245654363 I don’t really think it’s as bad as people claim it is.

UCR really isn’t bad. People just don’t like the location.

For those who got accepted when did your admission status change?

So no one who has gotten a decision, has been rejected yet? That’s a bad sign.

If I applied to public health and those decisions already came out then does that mean I’m being rejected?

@ladoo786 It seems as though some majors haven’t been released. Mainly the humanities ones.

Which majors did come out?

@StaticRoar, yes, people have been rejected already. But most don’t post about it.

@v3stige, I believe business and many science majors. No humanities yet.

I’m OOS and still waiting for Irvine. They asked for a supplemental as well. So far I’ve been rejected from UCSD, waitlisted at UCD, and accepted to UCSC. I still have to hear from Berkeley, UCSB, and UCI. Hopefully I get into either UCI or UCSB.

What about undeclared?

People have been rejected?

Yes, some people have been rejected. Just because your decision comes out later doesn’t automatically mean something negative. Some majors are just released later than others, and sometimes, there’s no rhyme or reason. If you’re very concerned, call admissions, they have the most accurate information when compared with online forums.

I’m pretty sure i got rejected…Haven’t heard from UCR or UCI yet. I applied for computer science. Since March 31 is getting closer I dont think i got in.
