does anyone know when PaceUniversity stops sending out admission letters to RD applicants?? is it some where in august....some one please respond thanks!!!

thanx rainbowmommy

I got mine already. I thought it was really cute how they told me I got in. "The answer is yes!" It made me laugh.

^fom 206..I had the same reaction...lol

Has anyone received a fin aid package , yet?

Yeah, my financial aid packet came a few days after my admissions letter. With the loans and scholarships they are offering, I would only pay a dollar a year. I'm just wondering why they couldn't just throw in that dollar. My parents don't want to take the loans so I will be paying more than just that one dollar.

lol, I have to pay 30 a year!

I envy your one dollar expected contribution..lol

Did anyone else get into the Honors college? I'm not sure whether to attend Pace or other more known schools. What benefits does Pace have compared to other colleges and I also plan on attending Medical school afterwards and dont know if med schools will know Pace and that might hurt me.

I got accepted into the Honors College and it sounds pretty cool, because they give so much scholarship money. I am considering Pace among other schools, but what I like best about Pace is that it's right in the city, and the job opportunities there are endless. I think med school is just really difficult no matter where you go, but it will look good you being in the Honors College, especially if you can keep a really tight GPA.

this university is a joke!

ojin, what do you mean?

yeah i was accepted to the honors college too. i liked that it was in the city, i absolutely love NYC. but at this point though im doubting that i will actually go... i think i like my other options better. but i too am interested in medicine and am just as curious as to how much attending would affect my chances of being accepted to a decent medical school.

I got my package as well. They gave me some scholarships and grants, but it would still leave me with about 17k worth of loans. I like the school, but I know it isn't worth that in the long run. So I guess I won't be going to Pace.

I called the office, and they pretty much said "This is an expensive school, so most of the students take out loans to cover the costs." I highly doubt all their students are putting that kind of financial gun to their heads.

im going here just because they offered me about $36,000 in free money and my parnets are covering the rest

I wish i could sitll go ot my top choice(Fordham) but I/my parents were not willing to shell out $50,000 a year(since they lost my fin info and i have no package there at all)
