I discovered the philosophy department @ MIT and it really interested me, so I was wondering if anybody knows the admissions for the philosophy department. And I also read the requirements and there is a lot of calc, physics, bio, chem etc... involved but is this the same for philosophy too. My grades aren't too awesome in college right now, but its because im lazy, i understand everything i've learned so far, and i can also write a pretty awesome essay, so i was wondering if anybody knew how the philosophy department @ MIT works. Thanks :D

Perhaps you should go to the MIT forums and ask about the philosophy department there.

MIT is one of the top universities in the world. Your “not too awesome” grades due to laziness at college pretty much extinguish any chance you have to transfer into MIT. Perhaps look at other colleges that are more realistic? Being a philosopher and all, I’m sure you can infer meaning from this.
