<p>2) Any of it doesn’t matter. If they get you to do it, it’s for a reason</p>
<p>3) Accepted URMs don’t work extremely hard to get to that point.
4) SAT scores are the most important thing in admissions.
5) If you get really good grades, you automatically get into an ivy.</p>
<p>6) my LoRs will be super.
7) I’ll explain my lower grades were because of [insert sad tale] and they’ll understand.</p>

<li>I get confused because when I read these I have to remember they are negative so the truth is the opposite of what is said.</li>

<p>9) ^ yeah, so let’s add: if you apply to all 8 Ivies, you will get into at least one.</p>
<p>10) Everything your college counselor says is true/good advice/correct
11) You have to start your essay the summer before the application year
12) You don’t need a backup school if you’re amazing</p>
<p>13). ALL admissions counselors are aware of how much you care about your grades; this has no relation to the fact that they’re so low.</p>
<p>14) Having 50 ECs will make me look involved, and that’ll get me into college.
15) The only acceptable GPA is a 4.0.</p>
