I thought Union heard back in the middle of February? Or at least that’s what the email they sent me said.

Did you mean Cooper Union or Union College? I’ll change the date. Thanks.

Don’t know about dates for this year, but I know Boston University actually released decisions on March 25 or 26 (don’t remember for sure which one but I know it was one of these two), not the 28th. Not a big difference, but I’d be game for not having to wait an extra two or three days! ;)

Union College… but, oh, just kidding. Just read the email. It said I should apply because I would hear back February 1st, so since I had already applied, I assumed that’s what it meant. I just went to their website and February 1st is only for ED 2 applicants (even though I applied regular, so that’s a weird email to send but oh well), so disregard that.

I was deferred from Harvard, and their email said the notification date was March 28. It could have changed though, or that could just be for deferred applicants.

More schools than I thought use normal mail. I thought more were online.

@waitingforivy I wish more were normal mail. My friends and I had planned to have a huge bonfire at the end of the year and toss our rejection letters in and then roast marshmallows over it, but most have been by email this year, so it sucks. :(

Why can’t they be earlier? :(

@born2dance94 - they usually send real letters as well, so I’m planning on doing that anyways!

@moonman676 - Yes I wish! I’ve kinda resigned myself to the fact that I’m not going to know anything for months and to try and enjoy myself during senior year.

@waitingforivy: Luckily, I find out about one of my safeties February 15th :)

@waitingforivy the ED school that was my top choice but was rejected from didn’t send a hard copy of the rejection letter. That was honestly the one I wanted most. It was going to go first into the fire. :(

even if they only send emails, I’m gonna print them out and watch them burn. I just hope I won’t be crying cause I only got rejection letters hahaha. Man that would suck

This list seems like a good idea, but the OP mentioned that the dates are copied & pasted from an old thread, so they are probably not valid. Anyone want to update any schools with with this year’s info?

Awesome list! Grinnell’s website says RD decisions are mailed in “late March”

Thanks UM32194. Snail-mailed or emailed, do you know? Anyone else have updated info on other schools?

UT Austin is aiming for Late February early March.

Sent from my Inspire 4G using CC App

I think Grinnell decisions are released through postal mail. Not entirely sure though, as the website just says “mailed by”

Stanford and Johns Hopkins release April 1, but since that’s a Sunday, I wouldn’t put it past them to release either the Friday before (March 30) or the Monday after (April 2). Stanford is email only.
Duke says it will give email notification later on of specifically when decisions will be released–not sure if it varies person to person.

The wait is such a torture o_O
