Admission notification

Hi, everyone! I applied to Chapman via early action and they requested for my fall semester grades. My school counselor submitted my fall grades and I have yet to hear back from Chapman, even when I applied early action.

Few questions:
-Is it safe to assume that I was "deferred"?
-Regardless of submitting fall grades during the school year, shouldn't EA applicants receive their admission status earlier than RD applicants?
-Or would I be notified about my admission around the same time as RD applicants because I turned in the fall grades?

The waiting game has been making me anxious as Chapman is my top-choice university. Please reply if anyone has an answer. Thank you :)

I was in the same position -applied for early admission but decision was rolled over to regular admission and they requested my fall grades. I just got my acceptance in the mail today!!

If you check the website, it should give you the status of your decision. Mine changed to “decision mailed” on Friday, so it took about 4 days to get my decision, but I live pretty close to Chapman.

Good luck!

SoCA - can you do anything special on your webadvisor now that you’ve been accepted? Did anything change on it?

@SoCAGuy Glad we were on the same boat at one point. I also live pretty close to Chapman, probably a 20-minute drive from my house. I’ll continue to check my WebAdvisor (as if I haven’t done that since December, haha…) to see if my status has changed. Congrats on your admission!

@SoCA - I totally forgot; congratulations! Forgive me, I’m a bit crazy right now haha

Thank you. The only thing that changed on my WebAdvisor is it said “decision mailed” … nothing else has changed at all even though I’ve already received my acceptance letter.
