Hey guys I was just wondering if its any tougher and if so how much for an out of state applicant to get accepted vs. an Indiana resident.

Generally, yes. Here is the admissions standards page.

Notice the change in 2011;

[Admission Standards: 7th-11th Graders: Office of Admissions: Indiana University Bloomington](http://www.indiana.edu/~iuadmit/highschool/standards.php)

My feeling is that they might let a lower GPA or SAT score in for an instate student, but will be less likely to do so for OOS. There aren’t clear cut numbers for SAT’s, but the rumor at my children’s HS is 1200 this year. (based on what some parents that work for IU have told me/them.) Of course, this isn’t to say applicants with lower scores won’t get in.
