<p>so i have a friend who is completing his high school abroad.
he is a us citizen.
he plans to come to community college here in california.
so heres my question:</p>
<p>if he gets really good grades here in community college and plans to transfer will he get a little EXTRA preference because:
1. he is a us citizen
2. he went to ccc
3. he obviously can't be considered a resident for tuition purposes*</p>
<p>*according to uc stats (easily available online), every year the uc's are admitting more and more students who will pay out of state tuition because of the fact they pay more. most out of state tuition paying students are either international students or students who did not attend ccc.</p>
