ok so right now i am barely in the top 25% and meet the 1300 SAT requirements, and am a junior. but next year i might be going to a diff school, and there' no way i'll be in top 25 percent there, so is there any way i can use my current stats for admission into a&m? thanks

I would start my application as soon as it opens, around august/september. That way, the transcript you send in will only have your grades/rank from the previous semester and the new school probably won’t have you in their system yet. But keep in mind, you will have to send in your final transcript when you finish your senior year, so TAMU will see the drop in your rank regardless.

but when they see my final transcript, can they change their admission decision?

I would get a sealed copy of your transcript from the high school you are at now at the end of this semester. Once you send in your application, you will get your UIN - and you will get a form to send in with all documents. Send in your transcript via mail with the sealed Jr year high school transcript along with that document identification form. Apply August 1st. First day of admissions - you should be fine. Doesn’t matter if you fall out of top 25% after you have been accepted. You should have no problem being accepted.
