<p>Exactly how much harder are Harvard, Princeton and Yale to get into than say Brown and UPenn!?</p>

<p>I got into the the two latter schools, and was placed on the waitlist for Stanford. The reason I didn't apply to HYP was because I felt it would be a waste of time considering the competition....Was I misinformed!?</p>

<p>I had a 2100 in SAT 1 (I thought that would rule out HYP, and almost destroy my chances at Brown, Upenn and Stanford), and 2170 in SAT 2, pretty unique essays (about filmmaking and welfare economics), and 9 As in O levels.</p>

<p>There is nothing you can do about it now, so don't worry about it.</p>

<p>when you're applying to schools of that caliber, it's such a crapshoot... who really knows what would have happened if you did it over again</p>
