Do the admission officers at colleges take into consider how competitive ur high school is? Let's say student A got a 88 average in a HS that is easy and not competitive at all vs student B who got a 85 average in a very competitive HS (ranked like in top 5 of the city). Who would have a better chance of getting in?( Assuming that the other parts of the application are similar)

Most colleges will ask for class ranks or the highest GPA in the graduating class. They'll also ask for how many AP's and honors classes are offered and can probably look at how the high school ranks and average test scores somewhere. If it's a college in the state, they'll likely have a lot of experience in comparing a competitive school to a noncompeitive one. I think they have some way to figure this out.
