Admission question. . .

<p>Does VT admit you to the school, and then see if you get the major you put on the application? Or do they accept/reject based solely on what major you put?</p>

<p>I put engineering, and it could go either way with me it seems. I don't want this to ruin my chances of getting in. Thanks</p>

<p>You could be admitted as "university studies" or whatever it is called if you are not admitted into the college of engineering.</p>
