Admission Reqs

i know that MIT does not admit architects in a seperate category, but since i want to focus on architecture and not biochem or physics, is it ok if my resume is more "artsy" than scientific?

everyone on CC applying to MIT has qualified for USAMO or TASP however those areas arent my focus... will this lack of research immediately place me out of the running?

Yes. They want to know that you will be able to do the math/science work required of all students (which can by shown by your grades, scores, rec letters, etc.), but it's also good to be creative.

No, lack of research won't put you out of contention.

Not me!! I don't even know what TASP stands for, ahahaha!

you could certainly include samples of your artsy work, if that's what you mean.

There is an optional essay asking about something you've created -- perhaps that's a good place to show your artsiness?
