Question, alot of times schools say that you have to reach certain academic requirments to get into a certain program (Like for myself, journalism) (GPA, SATs, Class Rank Percentile etc...)

My question is, do some schools make acceptions or do you ABSOLUTELY have to meet those requirments?

Depends how they word it. Sometimes they say, to be "competitive", you must have ______ GPA. They don't absolutely require you to have above X GPA incase your extracurric's are exceptional. So yes, there are exceptions.

If you haven't looked, check the FAQ sections on the college websites. I have seen a fair number that answer that question. If they do not, give them a call; it varies by school.
