Admission Rescinded! QUESTION

Not sure if i'm posting this in the wrong threat or not but i'll make a long story short. I got into Tulane early action and I plan on attending. I will be sending in my deposit soon but
I am really worried about my grades.

I am doing decently in all of my classes except for calculus but I am really struggling with a difficult teacher and I don't think I can avoid a grade in the 70s for my first semester at this point. Midterm probably won't go so well either. Do you think Tulane will rescind my admissions? Should I be worried or am I just not letting post admissions relaxation set in? Is it a good idea to send in the deposit ASAP or does that not make a difference.HELP!

The deposit won’t help, but I doubt you will get your admission rescinded due to one bad class. Do the best you can. Just make sure it doesn’t look like you have completely checked out!

Do your school has block schedule? You don’t need calculus to graduate.

Do not get an F. Get with your teacher to get as much help as possible to pass the class.

Does the admission letter contain any conditions of admission that you must meet to avoid having it rescinded?

A grade in the 70s would be in the C range, correct? I’ve personally not heard of rescinded admissions for a single C. Make sure you don’t get a D or F.

I can’t imagine that one C would get your admission rescinded. Have you checked the web site for Tulane on acceptances? Most schools will post their policies there. Just keep working hard in class
