Admission rescinded?

Would Penn, sweet Penn, rescind an offer of admission if the student in question is getting all Bs except for art? Because that’s where I’m at now… The Bs are all in AP or Honors though… I’m worried!

Haha yeah... what's the lowest GPA I can get this term without being at a 10% or more chance to get rejected?

EDIT: Actually, 10% is too high for me -- too risky. 1%? haha...

Pretty much... just don't get a C or below and you should be fine.

^^ Pretty much. A's good, B's okay, C's you're pushing it, D's and F's they might give you the boot.

Any of you guys actually tested this (or know of friends who did) or is this all theory?

It's all theory. :) I highly doubt they'll boot you unless you get multiple C's and some D's.

Yeah, I think all of us are too scared after working hard for 4 years to blow it all in just 2 months. But still... because I'm not going to be #1 or #2 ranked anyway, I'm really considering dropping my standards ;D

i just got the final school year report sheet from them that i have to give to my councelour...and it asks for final GPA..and then theres a box that says check here if any grades are a D or F...so im guessing C or above is fine

what about one C you think?

its finneeee...lord...such overachievers...you guys are in penn...that mus tmean that you are smart...that must mean that you can do nothing (or almost) and get Bs...so just relax everyone...one C will not kill you...my rank has dropped from 13 when I applied to Penn to 19 since the end of first semester...thats a big drop...but who cares...it doesn matter any more

I think that a C is fine. I'd say that all Cs is fine.

However, do you really want to risk it?

hahaha true... i got scared when i got that letter too witht the checkbox on D's and F's. Right now it's 2:40 am where i live and if i dont get this term paper done by 8am in the morning, I'm risking a B or a C in English. Well....back to work.
