<p>So excited to be joining the class of 2019! Students seem very diverse and curious on the Facebook group. Biggest worry about my application was a lack of an interview, but I guess it didn’t matter when it came down to it. </p>

Essays: Quite good. I’m a pretty strong writer and I had several people look over my essays and give me feedback before I submitted them. I wrote my Why Swat essay about how I don’t know what I want to do with my life, and how Swarthmore will let me figure out who I am and what I want to do. I wrote my Common App essay about moving cities my freshman year of high school.

<p>I’m so discouraged right now. I thought I had a good chance to get in but I guess not. I was accepted to my safety with a boatload of money but I would rather go to Duke or Williams if I get in. Right now, I feel like some community colleges would reject me though.</p>
