Admission Results Class of 2019

Haha just got my results today, even thought their website doesn't say rolling anymore :)

I submitted the main part of my app on 9/2 and had everything in and received ~~9/16.

3.5 GPA (on the weird 4.5 scale that they use) + 1910 SAT. People with lower stats that applied way later already heard back, and they haven’t responded to me yet. I’m really nervous :|

Got accepted to CS
31 ACT
1970 SAT
4.0 uw GPA
4.3 w GPA
out of state

Got into Rutgers! When do they give info on merit money?

Hi Josh,

Scholarship notification begins in January.

How quickly do the rolling admissions occur in Arts and Sciences? All data for my younger son was in on October 10th. Scores, transcripts and high school GPA are all well above what is needed. I recall older son’s acceptance response happening very fast (though he did not accept).

@NJCornellMom‌

It varies year to year based on the school and the applicant pool for that school. Since the data for your younger son was in well before the Early Action Due Date of Nov 1, you can expect an answer soon enough. Otherwise, all applicants will be notified by Jan 31, 2015.

Thanks, Rugved! I wondered, as I’ve seen some friends posting of their kids’ Rutgers acceptances already.

This happens every year. People who apply super early (September) are still waiting while people who applied later, with lower credentials, hear back already.

Don’t worry, you’ll hear back soon enough. They are dealing with a ishload of applications.

S1 knows kids who applied to SAS who have been admitted. Anyone know of any other schools that have sent out acceptances? (He applied on 10/20 to Eng, Biz & SEBS).
