Admission Results Class of 2019

Does anyone know when people start to get notified for scholarships?

@mark05 no one really knows. I asked an admissions counselor and they said anytime from this month to March is when they do notifications

has anyone for business school NB applied October 31 has not heard back

I didn’t hear back from SAS and I applied October 31…do you guys think I can still make it?

I’m on the same boat, I’m hoping I still get in

Just got accepted thank god! Guys there’s hope for all. I got in with a 2.6 GPA and 1970 SATs. Also good ecs. Yes!!!

Any word on when exactly the Honors College notification will be?
Also, how tough will it be to get in?
I have a 34 ACT, 4.4 out of 4.75 GPA, top 15% (competitive HS), 3 varsity sports (xc/indoor/outdoor track), good essays, 8 APs through senior year

i applied on nov 1 is that still considered early decision ?

@jadepari‌ yeah its still considered early action. As long as it was in before midnight on Nov 1st. So you should be hearing by Jan 31st.

@colleger799‌ on the Go Rutgers network, the staff members say they begin notifications toward the end of January. They also said : “The plan is for students to only be offered admission to one. The Honors College would be our very top first-year students and the school-based honors programs would have the other top students.” So if you get into a school based honors program, there’s a good chance you wont get into the Honors College. However, “Once the initial group has been notified we will automatically consider additional students for admissions as space remains.” So there is still a very small chance some people will get into both.

Is there a good chance I get into rutgers, just sas, if I got into stony brook?

Both are similar schools; SUNY SB is little more selective than Rutgers (not that much though). There is a very good chance you will get into Rutgers for the similar program you got into Stony Brook.

I still haven’t gotten in to Rutgers’s School of Engineering. I’m starting to hate the words “in process.”
SAT: CR- 760 M-660 W-610 (2030)
GPA: 4.5 weighted
EC: I filled up this section on the application
Curriculum: All honors, 8 APs through senior year
In-State, Afro. Amer. male
Essay- decent but not excellent

I applied in October btw. But there was a delay in my application because of a SAT score and SRAR problem so it wasn’t “complete” till November.

My son’s portal says (in addition to “in process”): “This screen reflects the status of your Rutgers University application for undergraduate admission including all required credentials received through 01/16/2015.” App was submitted months ago and the date listed has changed – I thought each time the status was checked. But it’s been frozen at 1/16 for a week now. Is that unusual or common? Thanks.

It’s common. It’ll Change once a week usually so next week it’ll be the date of Monday and stay that way all week unless Rutgers access the application during the week

I was accepted today. I had forgotten to pay the application fee until yesterday so I assume that is why I received my results so late.

Major: Computer Science

Mine says the same thing but no response yet as to a decision! Not sure why but maybe it has been reviewed and just waiting for next wave of responses to go out? What schools did he apply to or what’s his stats? Confused myself…
