Just call the fin aid office and they will tell you if you can stack the awards.

accepted with honors and scholarship! Bouve College of Health Sciences

Does anyone have a rough idea of what top percent we are in?
as in people who were admitted yesterday including those who did not get scholarships.

@kiddie - thanks for the info.
My stats are pretty good (2280 SAT/3.9 UW) and everyone else who got admitted today seems to have gotten Honors, so I’m a bit confused (and kind of scared about what this means for the more selective colleges that I applied to…), but at least NMF guarantees honors anyway.
However with only 30k, I don’t think I will be going to Northeastern anyway. It’s a shame that they got rid of the Full Tuition scholarship… I applied here thinking that it still existed.

Congratulations everyone! Did you apply for fin aid, and if so, did they give you info on the whole package?

@OACLJV, I am in your position as well. I really loved Northeastern more and more until I found out the full tuition changed. @milkweed, if you applied for financial aid early enough, you received all the info in your acceptance package.

I got in to the Honors Program and the University Scholars (which is full tuition ) basic stats - 4.0 gpa (unweighted) and 2290 SAT

@Jandra2014, Congratulations! May I ask what you think netted you the University Scholars thing?

@OACLJV, I got accepted with scholarship two days ago, but no Honors. I’m not NMSF either. :c

You guys who were admitted, are you international or US applicants?

Never mind! Just found it it was the priority students who got the news.

@neh1996
What do you mean by priority students?

I guess a better term would be top applicants. I may be wrong, but it seems to me from these posts that they released decisions to the gets they invited to the honors program.

Yes, the better term would indeed be top applicants.

@neh1996 I was accepted but not to the honors program (as I posted before).

It is not a shame that NEU got rid of the NMF full ride scholarship as that means the school is getting too many NMF finalists to afford that any longer, aka the school is rising in the rankings and in prestige of overall student body.

Tuition is 40k, and NMF scholarship is 30k… if that is a deal breaker for you, I’d be interested to see where you’re gonna end up that is so much cheaper. 10k/year for private school tuition is nothing.

Accepted! Just checked the portal and saw that I was admitted to the Honors Program with 30K per year from the National Merit/National Hispanic Scholar programs. Hopefully I can get some more aid when need-based aid comes out later; otherwise, NEU will be too expensive to attend!
Basic stats: 34 ACT, 2260 SAT, 223 PSAT, 9 APs, AP Scholar, etc

Can confirm, I also got acceptance and Dean’s scholarship but no Honors invitation. Not complaining though!

Oh sorry!! @ladypikachu I must’ve missed your post.

@neh1996 It’s fine! Oh wow I sounded slightly antagonistic in my last post. I’m already happy I got my decision even without Honors, since Northeastern is one of my top choices :)

Oh yeah and for future reference, my basic stats are:
SAT: 2210 M790, W710, CR710
SAT II’s: Chem 760, Math 2 770, USH 760
Top 1% out of about 400, 4.5 W GPA, 3.9 UW, 10 AP’s
