Hey guys, just wanted to give my input!
Yesterday I received my acceptance letter, and when I checked my unofficial transcript, it did not load.
Upon checking this morning, it had finally loaded.
So maybe, it takes awhile for them to do it?

So it looks like GPA is the make or break guys… if you have a 3.6+ you will probably get in… and if you have an SAT above 1700 you’re in good shape… just have both of those… if you only have 1 or none you probably got rejected unless you were amazing in ECs and Essays.

@hazel12 Has your status in myUW changed? Or does it still state this :

Thank you for applying for admission to the Seattle campus of the University of Washington for autumn quarter 2013. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made on your application. If further information is needed, we will contact you via the email address listed below. Please make sure your email address is valid and check this site occasionally for information concerning your application. This message will not change unless additional information is required or until a final admission decision is made.

Been trying to check the UW Unofficial Transcripts, but it keeps coming out as ‘page cannot be displayed’. Does this mean I’m not accepted or something? International Freshman applicant here :)

@ jeremiah1121: Yup, the status is still the same.

I really wouldn’t worry too much about the transcript thing. Even before I received my letter (I checked on March 15th), it never loaded and it said the same thing.
But I wish you luck, and I hope you get in!

My unofficial transcript is not loading still, and I haven’t received my letter, does that mean I’ve been rejected most likely? :(

Any international applicant has received an email yet???

I logged in just now and the unofficial transcript loaded… but I haven’t got my letter. I am hoping that this means I am in. Still have the UC’s to wait for, but soooo happy if this does mean I am in. UW is an amazing school. Anyone who was rejected able to access the transcript?

Would the time difference make any difference for the unofficial transcript loading? I am in Hawaii and it is 7:09am and the distance from continental America may account for my letter not arriving yet?..

@romigacela not yet. I’m starting to worry. Maybe we’re supposed to get our decision after US applicants?

@Maitham. Maybe you have reason and we are going to receive our letters later, but the wait is really freaking me out!

I have no idea what you guys are talking about with the unofficial transcript thing…I can’t find anything like that on my MyUW homepage. Help, please?

[/ul]General Comments:
Happy, but UW out-of-state tuition is too expensive. I still might consider it if I get into the honors program, which is unlikely. Congrats/good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone! Congrats on the acceptances. I still haven’t gotten a letter in the mail so I’m feeling pretty anxious…has anyone from the northern east coast (specifically MA) heard back yet? I know people in NJ and NY have been getting letters.

@spanishcaravan, I think you will be fine, I live in Colorado and haven’t received my letter either(and there are people live in Texas that got accepted already).
Does anyone know how they release the result? Base on the major or what?

For those interested the acceptance notification to the Honors Program will be released mid-April.

My friends who received their acceptance letters have their unofficial transcript loaded. I’m still waiting for my letter but my transcript has loaded. Although the admissions office says it means nothing, they say that because it’s not official since you still didn’t receive the “official” letter. People who received their acceptance letter but do not have their transcript loaded, that means you are in but they are still working on getting all those students transcripts up just like we are waiting for the letters
Good luck everyone!

Got my big envelope today!!! Crying tears of joy and I can’t breathe! My unofficial transcript still isn’t loading so don’t worry if yours doesn’t because it doesn’t mean anything!
Good luck to everyone still waiting!!! :)

Guys please help! I checked my unofficial transcript and it loads. Under “College” it says “Arts & Sciences”. Under “Major” it says “PRE NURSING”. I’ve heard conflicting opinions on whether it means you are accepted or if it just means nothing. Im very nervous…

My transcript loaded but I still haven’t gotten my letter! UGH!!! I live like 30 mins from the school too and all my friends already received their decisions!

My unofficial transcript loads but I have not yet received a letter. OOS from CT. Gives student No., class: freshman, college: Arts and Sciences, and my major. It also says “Special Program: ADM SAI”, which apparently means “Admitted by ADM Committee” according to this link [Student Database System (SDB)](http://www.washington.edu/admin/adminsystems/sdb2/SDBReferenceSpecialProgram.html)

Is it safe to say I’m in? I’m really anxious to know! Thank you!

For the past 4 years, we (collective CC board as well as offline talking with friends/classmates) have never heard of someone who had their unofficial transcript load (+student ID number, etc) who got waitlisted or rejected. This is from the group of people who did not take classes or was enrolled at UWB/UWT prior to applying to UW main campus.
