Admission Revoked!

Is it likely that a university would retract an admission offer if a student did badly in her A-Level (incomparable to the work done thus far) ? Let's say she failed in all/some subject but in fact the forecast result given was straight As......

I think its quite possible, unless you come up with a really really good excuse for failing all after being forecasted as a straight A student. It also tarnishes the image of the school who gave you that forecast. And I'd say its pretty hard to fail in A levels, even if you are not a straight A student.

Your college is definately going to want a pretty darn good reason from you and your high school.

How about the result turns out to be mediocre when the college expects straight As...?

I'm sure couple of B's and (maybe 1-2 Cs?) are fine.. i dunno check with the x college's cc forum

And I agree with hagar that failing a-levels is difficult..

Couple of Bs and 1/2 Cs = BBCC?

Couple of B's and C's should not be a problem. Actually, that happened to me. I got straight A's and a B maybe in my predicted grades and got into Washington & Lee. But then i screwed finals up big time, and landed up with B, B, B and a C. My college dint say a word. They dont usually object unless you've done absolutely horrible.
