Kind of worried here.... I had all A's when I applied and even up to the mid year report, but I might have one or two B's (small chance) on my final.... does this mean they will rescind the offer..? Bc im pretty sure it says something like we expect you to maintain an equal or higher level of performance...ahhh

youre fine.

Not unless you start getting C’s

Would they rescind my admission offer if I got one or two really low grades due to grade deflation? My english teacher still thinks “C” is the average grade (at the beginning of the year when we had a ton of papers due he was giving out D’s to somewhat below average papers and Cs to average papers). Because of this i think I might end up with somewhere between a high C or mid B in that class. Also, my bio class is really hard and I might have a low b in there too (however in my other 4 classes I have either A or A+). How does the rescinded admission actually work? Do they call you and tell you, or what? Can I explain to them the grade deflation…?

Haha nervous nerds are always the funniest… Guys you can even squeeze in a few C’s here and there without getting rescinded (not that you’d want to anyway). Personally, I’ve gone from mostly A-'s and A’s first quarter to mostly B’s and two C’s this quarter. All my grades average out to like a B now.

yeah is going from AAAAB to BBBCC alright??

Haha thanks, that makes me feel a lot better and relieved It’s gonna be a good rest of the year.

hahaha what if (s)he’s wrong!

AlexE, I feel your pain. My English teacher that I have for this entire year is just like that.

Shut up, Amit. @_@

lmao… are we, really? haaha jk. can’t help it… it’s like embedded into our DNA.

Haha Steven… make sure you send your stuff to your regional person and the undergrad adm. office!

Vitare, aren’t you Indian, too?

just for kicks, where in india is your family from? (south indians, bengalis tend to be the geniuses, punjabis tend to be the not so inclined crazy partying type, gujus…well are just gujus- the business minds :))

not that I fit into that stereotype… I just think it’s funny.

whats the most indian last name besides patel

HAHA. Patel (gujarati), Singh (punjabi), Sharma (punjabi), Shah (Gujarati) tons of popular ones… but the majority of indians in america are gujarati, so def. patel

are the majority of indians in america really gujarati? i’m from california and here the overwhelming majority are punjabi sikhs which makes sense because they’re all here on political asylum lol indira gandhi
that being said i’m a muslim gujarati

whoa… ive definitely never met any muslim gujaratis in my life (although, of course, I knew they existed haha). are you going to Penn for sure next fall?
