I was unable to log in before it was shut down.
This means rejected right?

ughhh… now I have to hope being taken off waitlist by bunch of schools

USC was like 6th choice for me, but still feels bad…

This link worked 2 years ago only for scholarship kids, according to current USC mom. Are any of you who could log in scholarship recipients?

@Livermore: ^^^What limi2606 said!

Son accepted today. He logged into the url and reserved his day for Explore. His USC Connect today said (and still says): Status Unavailable.

The phrase Status Unavailable does not indicate rejection. It may be neutral, but it does not indicate rejection, since my accepted son still has it posted now. Do not assume anything based on that!

Can everybody reserve a spot for the campus walking tour under the “Events” section on USConnect?

I don’t mean USConnect. I can log in to that website
I meant the USC RSVP thing. But I can’t get into this one. (Tried before shut-down)

rejected right? sigh

Yes dingdong. I have seen that since I made my USConnect account.

I meant that I clicked on the link and reserved a spot as an “admitted student.” Can everybody do that?

Oh well, I’ll find out tomorrow!

I am from CA and I can log on to USC connect. does that mean anything? still waiting for the mail ><

@1xx4xy: I am a national merit finalist, so I don’t know if that means I’m a recipient or not.

@1xx4xy: I hope you’re not right because I just sent them a rant on the USConnect site:/ Well, looks like I’m not going to USC next yearxD

^^^the link to the USC RSVP for admitted events was shut down… It no longer works! That was how people were finding out admissions decisions. Being able to log in to usconnect from that link means nothing at this point, sorry.

I could register for housing, I’m not sure if this is a good indicator or not but can you sign up for housing? Just wondering.
I’m thinking they wouldn’t just let anyone register for housing but I’m not sure if they check it or not so it might not be a clear indicator of if you got in.

Hi,

Housing is completely separate. My daughter registered for housing several weeks ago, even though she had not yet heard from USC. USC is her first place school and she wanted to be at the top of the list for housing choices. I was willing to “lose” the $45 deposit if she wasn’t ultimately accepted to USC.

We have not yet heard, but are hoping for good news tomorrow.

@limi2606 I am a finalist too (was not invited to any scholarships though) but the message I saw was “not available”.

AW MAN! i got in & i wanted to sign up for explore… guess that means i have to wait now

I noticed one guy said that his id number didn’t appear under undergraduate app status, only in the document library. Does it mean anything if the id number IS under undergraduate app status?

for those of you that were able to see that you were accepted before the site was shut down, what does the message on your usconnect say on the application status section? is it just the first paragraph? and not the one that says “the committee has acted upon your application?”

Guys i think we are all clutching at straws, there has been a large number of applicants, I guess they update students seperately due to alphabetical ro any other order, therefore discrepancys are gonna occur.

wanderlusted, it was the first paragraph and “Status not available.”

Im worried, since I was not able to log in to the RSVP… USC is my dream school. But, it says status not available. Thoughts?
