<p>I've searched the web (& these forums) trying to find a definitive answer -- I know it varies among colleges (& they do their own evaluation of weighted classes) but I wondered if there was anything approaching a <em>general</em> rule as to how percentile rank is evaluated for scholarships (& admission)?</p>
<p>If my son is to qualify for a variety of scholarships, he'd need to have his weighted classes (full-load of honors classes almost each year) calculated. If not, he's not even remotely competitive on gpa (due to past "chilling" and lack of effort--which has since really improved!).</p>
