Hey everyone,

I have an 800 on the SAT I math, SAT II math, and 36 on the ACT math, as well as 5's on both AP Calc tests. I also took Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra before my senior year of high school.

The problem is that my CR/English scores are not as high (670 CR on the SAT, 660 Writing, 29 combined english/writing on the ACT).

If I have plenty of EC's and work experience/community service, do you think my math scores would make up for my less than average scores at caltech? Should I try to retake the SAT and get my scores up in January even though they will most likely not count for admission purposes there?

Thanks
