Admission Statistics Data from all UC's!!

I found this link to the University of California website and it has some really cool admission statistics. You can pretty much break down statistics by each campus and Freshman stats, transfer stats, California Community College transfers and bunch of other really cool stuff. I suggest everybody check it out just for fun.

University of California: StatFinder

Cool, thanks!

No problem!

wow what useful stats...
man if they only broke it down into majors >_<
not trying to push it or anything LOL

good find indeed.
would've been better if they didn't update this every 5 years though :(

Yea I know but I think the 2005 year stats are pretty similar to what you will find for fall 08. fall 2008 is probably just a little more competitive.

nice, thanks

Hmm... I guess there is no advantage to being a first generation college student. At Berkeley (2005) the admission rate first gen OOS transfers with >3.8 was 19%. The non first gen with the same stats was 22%. I guess maybe I should leave that information off my application.

Thanks for that link, now I can stress about admissions even more!

Link makes me worried even more.....

very useful.... but im impressed that for UC Berkeley Below 2.40
or 2.40 - 2.59 5ppl got accpeted... jesus they must be so happy!

if only they narrowed it down by school
i'll be soooooo happy

That site gives me hope!! woot woot

i think for engineering major makes a difference…they even say on their website that biomed engineering is hardest.

For A&S it usually doesnt matter

statfinder is alright…

LOL i jus realized how old this thread is hahah

This is very helpful!
