<p>Has anyone heard whether they are accepted EA yet?</p>
<p>It says on their website that Dec. 31 is the day they will start showing up online.</p>
<p>Last year they were released on Thursday December 14, and the year before they were on the corresponding Thursday. Unless something’s changed (i.e. with volume), I’d expect everyone to find out Thursday December 15 this year. They traditionally release all the EA decisions on the same day.</p>
<p>Actually, last year decisions were released on Thursday 12/16. They are released online in geographic waves starting with areas closest to Northeastern and working their way out from there. They started releasing last year at around 3 PM. We live in PA and my son received his acceptance at around 9 PM.</p>

<p>So is the Dec. 31st date that the school gave just a “this is the latest time you’ll get it by” type of thing?</p>
<p>…it was very late in NJ … close to 9pm… but yes BlackRose, it seems to be just that.</p>
<p>Yeah, that’s the last day they’ll let you know by, I’m pretty sure. For regular decision, they set a date of April 1, and I received my decision well before that.</p>

<p>No you don’t have to send in your first quarter grades. You will send your mid year report and end of year report if you are accepted Early action but they will be received after decisions are released.</p>
<p>I had to send my first quarter grades last year for early action.</p>
<p>I did not have to send my mid-year report because I was already accepted.</p>
