Admission: Submitting ACT scores after automatically sending in SAT score

Hey, I took the june SAT and chose, when registering, to automatically send in my scores to the UW and other schools. About 2 weeks before the test, I logged back into collegeboard and unchecked the automatic score sending service, just in case I didnt do well. Even though I got a message from the collegeboard stating that they confirmed that i unchecked the schools from that list, I got emails from some the of the colleges saying that they received my scores. I will take the ACT this fall and I am wondering if the UW will not look at my ACT scores because i already submitted my SAT score? Has this happened to any of you? if so, how do I tell the UW that i prefer my ACT scores to be looked at?

Thanks

They’ll look at both, and your higher score (based on their conversion chart) will be used in the application process. On my account online it says they got my SAT and ACT scores, but on my unofficial transcript it lists only my ACT score, which is about 300 points higher than my SAT when converted.

Wait… Are we supposed to send our AP scores/ SAT scores to colleges on those sheets? I have never chosen a college to send my scores to because… well I’m an in-coming senior and obviously don’t know where I’m going to go to college for sure. So can someone tell me how this works out? Thanks.
