Admission to GMU - need advice

<p>i have rather unique case
i am legal residence of Nepal
My father got Green card and being dependent i am in process to get
the admission office says i can be in state applicant when i'll have my green card
my house over there is quite near to GMU and i need to get admitted there
no other option
i have highschool GPA of 3
if considered 9-12 is 4-4-3-3 respectively
i am quite good in sports as soccer, Table tennis, Swimming, Basketball which is considered there
i have given toefl and sored 267
i am planning to give ACT but here optional writing is only available in april
so i'll give ACT as soon as i reach there
i have good recommendations
i hae involved myself in many social services and activities
do i have any chances there
any advice?

<p>Did you apply as an international? I'm not sure why you said that you have no other option? Do you mean that George Mason is the only school you are applying to, or do you mean the only way for you to get accepted is to obtain your green card?</p>

<p>By the way, my son visited George Mason and has applied there -- he really liked it and thinks it's a great school. We are from out of state (Ohio) and he knows no one else who goes there or who has applied there. He will visit again if he is accepted.</p>
