Admission to International Students

Is it possible for a international student to get admitted to a elite college only with a great essay, recommendation letters and perfect GPA and SAT scores?
The problem is that my school doesn't give honors and extracurricular activities are not so common in my country as it is in The United States.
The only extracurricular activity would be advanced French classes...

Thank you in advance! :)

The college would look at your school’s capability when reviewing your application. They would most likely see that you did not take anything honors or advanced and check into it. They really cannot punish you for not having that option. Also, I would try to get involved in something in your community, even if it is not school related. They want to see some activity.

Thank you for the reply! I will definetely try to look for activities I could get involved! A Student Exchange Program would help my chances of getting admitted?

Yeah I would think so! I would look into a local library or hospital that you could volunteer at or anything like that!
