EVENTHOUGH I AM NOT RICH ENOUGH BUT I DON'T NEED FINANCIAL AID IF IT HINDERS ADMISSION CHANCES, BECAUSE MY DAD TOLD ME PROUDLY, U GET INTO THESE UNIV AND I WILL WORK HARD TO PAY TO THEM.
SO KINDLY TELL ME MY CHANCES AS AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT.
I DON'T WANT TO GET ANY OTHER UNIV. SINCE I HAVE TO PAY SUCH A HUGE AMOUNT, THEN WHY NOT TOP UNIV.
THANKS

MIT has a 4% int’l quota, so be aware of that.

raise your SATs, I guess.

^ A lot of those schools are need-blind, anyways.

Yeah, i can see how hard CR can be because English isnt your first language, but try to get it up and you have a good shot at most of those, but most of these are toss ups for internationals anyway. Good luck!

MIT has a quota, caltech isn’t needblind to int’ls.

I think your best bet is harvard because it doesn’t discriminate between internationals and domestic. but you really need to improve CR.

And India’s official language is english isn’t it?

thanks a lot
if i appear in oct sat to raise my cr scores then kindly tell me tips to improve my cr
i have only 2 months to prepare cr and i have a lot more to do

memorize vocab i guess… they say that vocab is less important now, but imo vocab is still at least 75-80% of the CR section.

Also look at Yale, Dartmouth, Williams, and Amherst, which are the only other schools that are need-blind(and meet full need) for internationals

i have problem with vocab and abstract language of cr. Do u think i should give act?
Otherwise if act not good enough then i will definitely work hard for cr
WHAT IS IMO vocab?
thanks

imo=in my opinion. I’ve never taken/seen the ACTs so I don’t know. sorry.

Take the ACT and see how you do. Some folks who struggle with CR on the SAT do much better on the ACT.
