Admission to SDSU ?

I just sent in my application to San Diego State University. I have a 4.3 GPA ( although by the CSU criteria, it's considered a 4.05 discounting non-CSU approved courses ), a 1980 SAT score (since CSU's only count English and Math, I got a 740 on English and 580 on Math). I've taken many Honors and AP classes, and am currently taking four this year (senior year). My CSU eligibility criteria would therefore be 4560, I think.

I don't live in California though, and I know SDSU's admission cpacity is lower due to the California budget, and they give extra eligibility points to students in the service area. Seeing as it's more competitive, do I have a good chance of being accepted?

check out their website for the middle 50% of SAT scores of those students getting in, as well as average GPA and that kind of thing. It should give you a better idea of where you stand

Yes. If you were in-state, your probability for acceptance would be about 95%. I don’t think being out of state changes it much.
