Hello! My name is Luchiano and I am a First Generation Hispanic Male applying Early Decision to Syracuse’s Dual Degree Program in Political Science(Maxwell School) and Public Relations(Newhouse School)

I have a 3.35 UW and a 4.2 W GPA (Top 8% of my class). I attend a public school in a middle income area. Also I have a 1110 on the new SAT( I know it’s low I’m just a bad test taker)
For Extracurricular activities I held an officer position each year in Debate, currently for my senior year I am President.
I am a member and officer of NHS(National Honor Society)
I have had my own legislation go to the FL Senate and House
I interned for Debbie Wasserman Schultz
I am Youth of the Year with the Boys & Girls Club, and Vice President of Keystone
I founded and am Captain of my own Golf Team and I compete in Archery
I am apart of 17ForChange a youth reform political group partnered with local officials advocating for gun reform
Manatee Honor Crew member, organized and assisted running a week long national debate tournament attracting over 6,000 people

I will have taken 4 AP classes and 1 Dual Enrollment, 2 years of Spanish, 3 years of a Science Lab course here are the classes: AP Human Geography and AP US History- Junior year, and AP Psychology and AP Government, and ENC 1101(Dual Enrollment) Senior year. Also I have taken multiple honor classes as well.

What are my chances of getting accepted? If I don’t get into the dual degree program my second choice was admission only into Syracuse’s Maxwell School where I can major in PoliSci.

Forgot to also add I am apart of a business honors course where I create and compete in the NFTE business national competition.

Your chances are great considering you applied ED!
