I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page. The other post where he was told there was no appeal was from a student answering the phones in the admissions office. That’s what he told me in a pm. So, I believe anyone can appeal, but whether it will be successful is another thing.
The one big takeaway is that Berkeley is way more stringent regarding violation of provisionals than other UCs. I’ve noticed they’re in the take no prisoners mode.
As an appeal must be new and compelling info from up to the previous fall term, you’re a little stuck. The only possibility might be an emergency situation this term, I suppose. But that kind of seems iffy. You’re in a bind. I am sorry.
