I’m pretty sure you are qualified, even enough to apply early action. VCU’s program is great I wish I had took their offer back in '07. You should really get in touch with their faculty in the Financial Aid/scholarships dept, and staff in addmissions, email them telling them that you are interested and will be applying this way they will be looking out for your application and if and when you do decided to go there, they will look out for you on campus, especially since your resume is pretty impressive. That’s just my advice, I work in the admissions building at my university and did the same thing for every school I applied to, it increased my award letter and enhanced my relationships with the university faculty and staff. It’s always better when people are looking out for you, you know.

thanks for your input, growingpains. So it should be ok for me to contanct the university just to let them know my application is going to be sent out this year? Also, do you know of any BA/MD programs? i know there are some really competitive ones at Brown, USC, UCSD, and northwestern but it would be nice to apply to a few more that are similar to VCU in terms of admissions.

What’s your specific placing amongst your peers.

^ as in my rank?
i believe its in the top 15 out of a class of 500ish students. i dont know the exact number because i dont have an updated transcript with my second semester grades

Well, I think you’re pretty much in the game. It’ll come down to how pretty your application looks - your essays (very important; make or break) and EC’s/leadership positions.

since i’ve already posted this anyways, do you think these stats are good enough for brown RD. not necessarily PLME, but just the university in general.

does anyone know how many people apply and are accepted into this program?
