Transfer admission
I'm going to attempt to transfer from community college after 1 year starting in the fall of 2013.. My first semester I had a gpa of 3.7 with 13 credits, this semester I'm taking 16 credits and plan on having somewhat of the same gpa.. The only problem are my high school grades sucked in high school I did terrible I don't even want to talk about it. But other than that everything is fine I was just young and immature back then. So now I am about to take my sat because I know that's what schools look at. The only class I wouldn't have taken this year is a math course which I hear is really important to some colleges but other than that I will have everything else needed.. I'm going to apply everywhere and would like to know my chances of getting accepted

Radford
Jmu
Odu
VCu
Ecu
Wvu
Uva

Jmu's website specifically says math is important so I'm guessing that's a no go but what are the possibilities of the other ones? I really really really want to go to jmu so if there's any advice please share

Also wvu is my second school.. Some
People tell me I can get in and some say I might not

Google the Common Data Set of each school and look at section D to see if they consider HS transcript for admission. If it says of some that usually means if the student has <2 years of CC.

You will get into WVU I’d say. They have a very high exceptence rate.
