hey i checked my online application status and it read as follows:

An initial review of your application has been completed as of 02/21/2008. The final decision on your application has been postponed until March. If you have any new academic information that you wish to submit, please do so by March 1st.

what does this mean? any suggestions?

It sounds like you had better submit something more that will put you over the top! I haven't seen that wording before. Usually they ask for grades or something, or they defer you. They ARE specifically asking for "any new academic information". Do you have an outstanding 1st semester report card to send? At the very least, if you really want this school, have a counselor or teacher send in a letter for you, if you do not have any new academic information. Good luck!

Well, I guess I have a different perspective. I don't think that this message is anything out of the ordinary. It's just letting you know that they have all of your paperwork, and if you want to submit anything else to do so by March 1st.

My S has already been accepted to CU, but he has several friends in his high school (in Colorado) that are still waiting to hear whether they've been accepted or not (they applied around the Jan. 15th deadline). I think CU is letting everyone know that they'll probably be making some of these admissions decisions en masse after March 1st.

Good luck!!!

I got the same letter. They sent a mid-year report with it, so you need to fill that out because they want to see your senior fall grades before they make a final decision.

ya i got accepted on 3/20 after the reviewd my app a second time and saw my senior grades which is pretty cool
