Admissions at Citadel

I cant seem to guage the difficulty of admitance to this school by my scores. I have a 3.23 unwieghted GPA and a 3.67 wieghted. I got a 630 on Reading and a 600 on Math. I have alot of community hours and clubs, but I have no sports. Is there anybody who knows about the school that could help me out?

thanks

You have an average GPA for those that were admitted to that school, but your SAT scores are above the averages that were admitted into that school. I'd say you have an 80 percent chance of getting in so don't worry about it. As for sports, since you have been involved with different clubs, you should also be fine. Are you sure you didn't participate in any sports clubs or sponsored clubs outside the school?

Im in the support our troops club, academic games(english), and debate. Then I'm volunteer at the habitat for humanity construction group and I volunteer with the Florida Fish and Wildlife hunter safety program. so no, no sports.

and I just took my SAT's again and I got a 1340

hey, just apply to service academy, Citadel sucks man

Don't compare Senior Military Colleges to Service Academies. They are both very good, and pull out some real good soldiers. The experience is generally the same. The big difference is how one gets there. Getting the nomination is the difficult part. The Citadel has its own prestige. By the way, your SATs will get you into the Citadel without a problem. Good score. That will make up for your lack of athletics, and I'm sure you are good to go.

I have a relative who graduated from the Citadel and I've been amazed at their network. Time and again when he's changed jobs, if he can find a Citadel man where he wants to work -- he's in. They really take care of each other!
