Hey Daisy,

Not sure if ril5384 is still on CollegeConfidential, I am assuming she graduated by now. I can’t speak for AUR, but I currently work in Admissions at The American University of Paris and am an alumn of AUP, so if you have any questions feel free to give me a shout.

With regard to grad schools and great jobs, it’s really up to the student. If you work hard and do well, you can go anywhere with an AUP degree. We have plenty of students who continue on to do graduate and post-graduate studies at the top universities in the world, Harvard, Oxford, etc. Those are always the students that work hard and start building their career path while studying by getting involved in their areas of interest through conferences, networking, and internships.

Those students who chose to enter the working world directly instead of continuing on to gradschool join multinational companies like Google or IBM or go work for consulting companies like Ogilvy. Also, a large number of AUP graduates go into the non-profit sector and do humanitarian and human rights work all over the world.

Ultimately, it all depends on how much you are willing to invest yourself. The students that work hard and pursue their goals are the ones that do well after school.

If you have any questions about AUP, don’t hesitate to give me a shout!

Best,
Sebastian
