In my class of about 150 students, 2 have already been accepted under EA. I’m applying RD, but will the fact that 2 people have already been accepted from my grade somehow affect my chances for admission (i.e. soft caps, higher standard, basic human bias, etc). I go to a very competitive magnet school btw. Oh and I’m chinese and the two people already accepted are both chinese.
According to the admissions site, it shouldn’t matter. It says:
Our process is a student-centered process, not a school or region centered process. This means that we do not read your application along with other students from your school or region to compare you against each other; each applicant stands on their own. We have no quotas by school, state, or region. You are not at any disadvantage if other excellent students from your school or area are also applying.
@cory2067 where on their website does it say that? can you link me please.
EDIT: nvm i found it thanks
